

Lotus Racing may have missed out on Petronas, but it has found an even better-known sponsor in CNN International, one of the world’s leading news channel. The two companies have entered into a long-term partnership deal which will see CNN logos being featured prominently on the T127 race cars, drivers’ overalls and other team clothing.
“We are very proud to welcome CNN into the Lotus Racing family. It is a sign of the positive impact we have already made in the global business market that such a familiar brand… has made the decision to partner with us”, said team principal Datuk Seri Tony Fernandes.
The deal also drew praise from Rani Raad, CNN International Advertising Sales’ senior vice president: “This unique partnership with Lotus Racing takes CNN International into a new era of marketing and promotions and puts us in front of a worldwide audience of millions”.
