This mean-looking machine is the 2010 Subaru Impreza WRX STI Special Edition, which features wheels and upgraded suspension adopted from the JDM WRX STI spec C. The 18-inch alloy wheels are charcoal-coloured and 14-spoke, while the suspension consists of 16 percent stiffer front springs, 29 percent stiffer rear springs and a stiffer rear sub-frame bushings. A 1-millimeter thicker than standard rear stabiliser is also added.
Compared to the regular WRX STI, this special-edition WRX STI is cheaper but loses HID headlights, 6-disc CD player & 10-speaker audio system, automatic climate control and side mirror signal indicators, replaced by halogen headlights, single-disc CD player & 4-speaker audio system and manual air conditioning respectively.
Available in four colours including the exclusive Aspen White, the 2010 WRX STI Special Edition will be limited to only 125 units when it launches in the second quarter of next year.
